MidCentury Modern The main building at this show, Christison Hall, is named after McCollugh Christison, Secretary of the Alleyn Club from 1906 till 1967, and long time College and Estate Governor. The building was designed by architects Manfred Bresgens and Malcolm Pringle of Austin Vernon & Partners between 1965 & 69. It is a fine example of the uniquely British architectural Brutalism movement of the 1950s and 60s. No wonder so many architects and designers love this show.
